Our Ministries
At Nichols Temple, ministry is more than a program — it's a calling. Each ministry is an opportunity to serve God by serving others.
Serving God, Serving Community
Our ministries reach across every age group and area of need — from feeding the hungry to nurturing the faith of our youngest members. We invite you to find your place and join us in the work.
Community Outreach
Our outreach ministry leads the church's efforts to serve the broader Ensley community. Programs include the annual School Supply Drive, Hunger Relief distributions, and Clothing Assistance for families in need. We believe faith without works is dead — and we put that belief into action.
Bible Study
Join us every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 PM via Zoom for an in-depth study of God's Word. Bible Study is open to all members and visitors — a time of learning, discussion, and spiritual growth in a welcoming environment.
Fellowship Breakfast
Our Fellowship Breakfast ministry brings the congregation together around the table, strengthening bonds of friendship and community. It is a time to share a meal, share stories, and share in the joy of belonging to a church family.
Health Ministry
The Health Ministry is dedicated to the whole-person wellness of our congregation and community. We provide health screenings, wellness education, and resources to help members live healthy, spirit-filled lives.
Missionary Society
The Missionary Society extends the love of Christ beyond our walls — locally, nationally, and globally. Through prayer, giving, and hands-on service, our missionaries carry the gospel and meet practical needs wherever they are called.
Sunday School
Sunday School at Nichols Temple nurtures faith at every age. Classes for children, youth, and adults provide a foundation in scripture, church history, and Christian living. We believe lifelong learning is central to discipleship.
Young People Division
The Young People Division empowers the next generation of leaders in our church and community. Through mentorship, programming, and spiritual formation, we invest in the faith and future of our young members.
